Andrea Wilhelm
Andrea Wilhelm is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the IFSN Lab at the University of Delaware. Her research investigates the social (e.g., status) and cognitive (e.g., attention) mechanisms that shape human decision-making, with a particular focus on intergroup contexts. Integrating behavioral methods with social neuroscience techniques, Andrea utilizes electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to examine applying both univariate and network-based analyses that underlie social evaluations and trust-related decisions. Andrea received her B.A. in Psychology, with an emphasis in research and a minor in History, from Lee University. Beyond her academic pursuits, she enjoys running, reading, photography, and spending time outdoors. She is expected to complete her Ph.D. in 2027.
